Planning Overview

The University of North Carolina Asheville, led by Chancellor Mary Grant, has launched a strategic planning process to be carried out during the current academic year, with the goal of producing a plan by Spring of 2016. The current plan for UNC Asheville paves the way for the next chapter, a chapter the campus community will write together.

University Planning Council (UPC) will serve as an advisory group to help guide the work of a strategic planning task force. UPC will work to ensure that a wide variety of student, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, and community constituencies are involved and provide input and give feedback throughout the strategic planning process.
