Accreditation Statement
The University of North Carolina Asheville is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate and masters degrees. Program Accreditation
In addition to Institutional Accreditation by SACSCOC, UNC Asheville has several programs which are accredited.
The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)

Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)
The Department of Education at the University of North Carolina Asheville has been granted continuing accreditation by CAEP. This accreditation covers initial teacher preparation programs. For more information visit: https://education.unca.edu/
